UK Ultraspeed

UK Ultraspeed is a proposed high-speed monorail line that would link key cities in England and Scotland. The line, using Transrapid maglev technology, would extend from Glasgow to London.

The train would travel at up to 500 km/h (311 MPH). Exclusive of land, the project would require initial capital investment of between sixteen to twenty billion pounds sterling.
